Linde to showcase comprehensive range of cryogenic freezing and cooling solutions at InterCool 2008

CRYOLINE®, SNOWCOOL® and ICEBITZZ® technologies provide end-to-end solutions across food industry cold chain

Munich, 1st September 2008 – Linde Gases, a division of The Linde Group, and a principle provider of freezing and cooling solutions to the global food industry today announced its participation at InterCool 2008 in Dusseldorf, Germany. The company’s theme for the exhibition, “From farm to fork”, reflects the breadth and depth of Linde’s capabilities in providing innovative chilling and freezing solutions across the entire cold chain. In addition to showcasing its CRYOLINE PE pellet freezer and providing information on the extensive CRYOLINE freezers range, Linde will also be exhibiting its SNOWCOOL technology for temperature-controlled transportation and the ICEBITZZ family of dry ice solutions to meet cold chain needs as far as the end consumer.

Linde’s cryogenic freezing technology freezes food so rapidly that water contained within both the inner and outer cells freezes simultaneously, ensuring cells remain intact and thereby retaining best product condition.
